Investment Banking Analyst

Position and Responsibilities

We are seeking an investment banking analyst to support our M&A, corporate finance and private equity activities and be an integral member of our team. The analyst will have significant client contact and transaction involvement. There is significant potential to grow with the firm. Responsibilities include business and financial analysis, preparation of presentations and investment memoranda, industry research, and general support on client engagements. This is a unique opportunity to participate in both investment banking assignments as well as private equity principal investing.

Skills and Education

The ideal candidate will have an MBA and a minimum of two years of experience in banking, finance or accounting. Critical skills include financial modeling and clear, concise writing, and the ability to communicate with clients and prospective buyers and sellers. Must have excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task on
a number of different projects simultaneously.

Exceptional degreed undergraduates comfortable with accounting and finance, and with pertinent work experience, will also be considered.

Other Valuable Skills and Experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Experience with digital marketing channels and social media for business communications.

Successful completion of a commercial banking (or similar) credit training program is a plus.
